A person in uniform needs three things: good intel, dependable people around them and light weight, reliable equipment. To reduce malfunction in the field, we have incorporated a piloted thread to the chamber/pistol rod and the bore obstruction remover. If one of these parts is dropped thread end down, the pilot area absorbs the impact and protects the threads. During assembly, the pilot (or alignment pin) guides the threads straight into the mating part and prevents cross threading. This enhances uniformed personnel’s ability to clean weapons, even under limited lighting conditions.
